Bangor, Maine. "Bangor Area Blanketed With 15 Inch Snow Fall". Bangor, Maine area received 15 inches of wind driven snow that piled drifts six to ten feet high. Transportation is at a standstill, all church services were cancelled this morning and city and state crews were trying desperately to keep the Main arteries open for emergency vehicles. The scene above is in the heart of downtown Bangor where vehicles have been abandoned. By late afternoon the storm had shown no signs of abating.
