Air Cushioned Hunters- Cities Service Oil Company makes use of these air cushioned vehicles for the first time in search for oil and gas on Alaska's North Slope. The craft, 48 feet long, 23 feet across the beam and 15 feet high, skims the tundra, leaving no traction mark. It has speeds up to 60 m.p.h.
