On a background of foliage are two figures of naked young women. One, standing, goes to the water that occupies the whole foreground, her left foot already plunging into it. With both hands, she drops the drapery that she holds behind her at the level of her hips. The other bather, on the right, in the background, is seen from behind sitting on a bank of grass.
