Near the shining water on the left and between the grassy banks, one of two young women sits on a mound of grass. She is fully clothed and seen from the front. Her head is slightly bent and she gazes upwards and to the left. On the right, the other young woman is seen from the back. She stands completely naked and holds a big drapery in both hands and it falls along her right leg to the ground. There is a lot of greenery behind the two figures: a path that veers right, between the trees; meadows on the left; and big trees in the distance. The light gray sky is blurred and marked with highlights made with a scraper.
