After Tornado Struck Flint in 1953-This was the vast devastation scene 10 years ago at Coldwater Road (top to bottom) and Kurtz Road (bottom), in Flint, Michigan, after a huge tornado smashed along Coldwater at dusk. The tornado killed 116 persons, injured 867, demolished 340 homes and 27 business places costing $19 million in damage. Today is the tenth anniversary of Flint's most tragic disaster.
