Aerial view shows the damage caused by the earthquake that rocked the Southern California area 2/9. A freeway overpass under construction on Highway 5 collapsed during the quake, killing one person in a pickup truck that was crushed under tons of concrete. The collapse cut off all routes from the Los Angeles area to the Newhall, Palmdale area that was apprently the epicenter of the quake.
