Aztec calendar of Mexico

Aztec calendar or sun stone. In the month of December, 1730, upon starting construction of the New Plaza of this city, this stone was discovered and placed at the foot of the Occidental Tower of the Cathedral on the west side from which place it was moved to the national museum in the month of August 1885 .
