Memphis, Tenn., Feb. 25--Eugene D. Haas, of Frazee, Minn., sat calmly in criminal court today chewing the end of his glasses while waiting for the jury to return with a verdict in his murder trial. He was charged with the killing of his sickly wife, Myrtle, 30, Portsmouth, R.I. Haas' co-council, Mrs. Virginia Newman and L.E. Gwinn, discuss the case while sitting in vacant jury box.
