Awaiting arraignment

Mary C. Burns, 21, Daytona Beach, Fla. before her arraignment in District Court on a charge of assault with intent to commit murder while her alleged victim -- her own father -- fought for his life in Rhode Island Hospital. Police said she struck her father over the head with a hammer in the yard of a factory here yesterday.
