Anti-War March--The Vietnam Day Committee protest march gets started in nearby Berkeley, today. Police estimated there were 5,000 marchers at the start, but an hour later changed the number to an estimated 10,000. The demonstration was orderly, approved by a federal court order, which over-ruled objections of the Oakland City council which refused to give the committee a parade permit.
