Accepting $12,000 from officers of the Women's Committee of the Kidney Foundation of Massachusetts is Herbert A. Abramson, president of the Kidney Foundation. The funds, to be used in support of local kidney disease research, represent a half year's effort by the some 2,000 members of the Women's Committee.
