Abromson Gives Selt up in $66,615 Larceny Case. Harry F. Abromson, 56, of Brookline, former president of the Pioneer Insurance Company of Boston, surrendered yesterday in Superior Court on indictments charging him with larceny of $66,615. Judge Francis J. Good set bail of $10,000 cash or $20,000 in real estate after Abromson pleaded not guilty to four indictments charging 51 counts of larceny. He was secretly indicted by a grand jury Friday after William Rowan, a state inspector, had investigated reported shortages. Abromson’s counsel, Atty. Francis Matera, told the court the offenses “appeared to be only technical.”
