About a year ago, Trainer-Driver Bill Savage had an unaltered son of Adios Boy in his barn that posed a problem. The pacer, Camden Adios, had plenty of speed, as shown in a record of 1:59.2, but he was hampered by soreness. In '63, the colt had raced 11 times, winning six for $13,000. Savage's problem was to plan a campaign that would offer rich purses and a consistent, but not overbearing, race schedule. He found the answer in the Atlantic Seaboard Circuit series.
