Gavarni, Paul, 1804-1866 · July 7, 1840
In one of the corridors of a theater, a longshoreman, seen almost from behind, passes his head to the right by the skylight of a box numbered 25, and raises a label bearing, written directly: "Loge lonée." He holds in both hands, his hat behind his back. The door of the box of left is numbered 24, and one reads above on the wall written also in direct sense: "Premières loges."
