Two women, the one at left seated in an armchair, with her arm on its arm. She is in profile to the right, her face completely hidden by the brim of her hat which has a veil. She wears a high-neck dress with a long ribbon around her neck which falls to her knees. The other woman is facing forward, head 3/4 to the left, one arm hanging, handkerchief in her hand, hat with bird feathers, cloak with a double cape.
