Stone play. Before a dozen inhabitants of the country of both sexes and of all ages, seated or standing on a rock that occupies almost the entire width of the drawing, a Scottish mountaineer in shirt sleeves, seen from the back half and turned to the left, has to throw a stone in the distance. On the right also in shirt-gowns, a man, his body leaning to the left, is leaning on the rock, his head resting against his hand. He is waiting for his turn to take part in the game.
