At right, at the home of the mathematics professor, a tall young man, one hand on his hips and the other holding a small cane under the tail of his frock coat, is seen from the back before a black board, placed on an easel. The professor has drawn on the board a geometric figure in order to prove the demonstration which he is going to make for his students.
