There is a woman mending stockings sitting on a chair on the shoulders of four hunchbacks. Above nine small isolated subjects, of which highest to the left, a devil as a peasant woman, a clergyman on his back, and lower devils playing willow-sheep. These two subjects are the continuation of those of the previous number 42, to which this plate is thus connected. There is a number 1 below a young man on his knees in front of a woman on stilts, and the number 2 below a man on stilts near a woman sitting on the ground. These numbers are not backwards.
