3/18/66 - New Brunswick, N.J. - Dr. Ruth M. Adams (shown in 1960 file photo), dean of Douglass College here, will assume the presidency of Wellesley College 7/1. Dr. Adams will succeed Margaret Clapp, who resigned from the Wellesley post last summer to head Lady Doak College in Madurai, India. Dr. Adams has been the head of Douglass, the women's division of Rutgers University, for almost six years.
