A pottery stein with a flag
Villeroy and Boch · [1880?–1934?]
A 1/2 liter stoneware stein with a flag featured prominently on it. The white flag has the initials in black "T.i.B." and a red "4F", it divided by two red horizontal stripes, one in the upper half, the other in the lower half. The meaning of the "TIB" is Ruder-Riege der Turngemeinde in Berlin 1848 e.V. which means the German Rowing Clubs in Berlin. The "4F" is the logo of the German gymnastics federation.
