Gavarni, Paul, 1804-1866 · April 15, 1841
Surprised by a rainstorm, three passing strangers to each other, a woman in a hat, a baker's boy and a man in a coat, took shelter under a canopy in the street. Both men are smoking. On the left, the baker, his short piping mouth, the other his cigar in his hand. The poor woman placed between them can not guarantee the smoke that blinds her.
