This is a telegram sent from Donna Douglas to George Wood in support of Springfield College’s Work Week. George Wood was the college’s work week director. The letter reads, “I surely hope you fellers get that new swimming hole you’re hankering for. Jed, Granny, Jethro and I would send ours to you if we could ever get the danged thing into an envelope.”
