Seen through a large square doorway in a dark wall on a canal, is a brightly lighted interior, roofed with beams, where a man stands at a forge. In the outer wall, at the left of the doorway, is an open window in which the head and shoulders of a man appear. Projecting below is the prow of a gondola. There are strong reflections in the canal. The butterfly, shaded, is on the wall, halfway up the plate, near the left edge.

The 10th anniversary of Massachusetts squash players' subservience to Henry Salaun, the little man whose sceptre is an unerring racquet, was observed yesterday at Harvard's Hemenway Gymnasium. With 300 questions, Dr. Adams tests prospective brides and grooms to find out how well suited they are for each other and to help him predict their chances for marital happiness. His advice to all is to marry young. A courtship should be at least a year long but engagement should be short, he says.
