This photograph shows three female dancers stretching on the floor of a gymnasium, most likely the West Gymnasium on the campus of Springfield College. The front dancer is reaching to her right and facing down to the floor, the middle one is reaching to her front and touching the floor with both hands, and the dancer at the back is sitting straight with her arms raised in the air. Windows and something looks like a blackboard can be seen in the background. On the back of the photograph "1918-12" is written.;
