The new compact needs federal government approval, but in exchange for 50-mile exclusivity and other gaming expansions, payments over the next 10 years would increase from about $6 million per year up to an average of $43 million per year.; possible veto over-ride vote, budget cuts in-home care for autism, Autism is a developmental disorder. Symptoms of the disorder generally appear before the age of three, and include delayed or abnormal development in language, social skills and behavior. There are currently about 1, 000 Wisconsin children with autism receiving in-home services. Governor's proposed budget cuts $19 million from the services, essentially eliminating that program. Kit Weintraub's 8-year-old daughter and 6-year-old son have autism and have been provided in-home instruction for five years. transportation funds, The governor's proposal takes $500 million from the transport transportation fund and shifts it to the general fund.
