Two women weave at Oriental looms at the James A. Woolson House for women. They work with their backs to the camera, several small rugs are displayed in the foreground. The Woolson House was a recreational and work center for women who were blind, located at Harvard and Inman Street in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The women were employed predominantly in weaving and chair caning.
