A woman who is blind weaves at Oriental looms at the James A. Woolson House. She is seated outdoors with a wooden loom resting against the brick wall of a building. The Woolson House was a recreational and work center for women who were blind, located at Harvard and Inman Street in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The women were employed predominantly in weaving and chair caning.
