Philadelphia – Leaning Into The Lead – Mason Rudolph, Clarksville, ten., native, leans forward to follow flight of ball in today’s second round play of the $125,000 Whitemarsh Open near Philadelphia as he battled a 20-mile-an-hour wind for a par 72. This, with yesterday’s 5-under-par 67, gave him a two-day total of 139 to hold on to the lead. Not far behind him were Arnold Palmer with a second straight sub-par round, a 71, for 141, and Gene Littler, who had a second day score of 72. Play continues Saturday and Sunday.
