Hither Hills State Park is one of the State Parks under the jurisdiction of the Long Island State Park Commission. This park is 122 miles from New York City and is located on the Montauk Peninsula about 3 miles west of Montauk Village. This park features a camping area fronting on the Atlantic Ocean, surf bathing with bathhouse facilities, surf fishing, cafeteria and a store where purchases of foodstuffs may be made.
