Untitled scrapbook. Scrapbook has red fabric cover and is held together by twine laced through six eyelets. The number "6" is handwritten on spine. Scrapbook contains 50 pages, two of which are blank. This scrapbook contains clippings of dining room interiors in Europe and the United States. The bulk of the materials are from 19th century and 20th century periodicals, catalogs, and magazines such as "Arts and Decoration," "House and Garden," "Country Life," "Good Furniture," "Furniture Age," and "The American Architect." Some clippings include names of owners and architects as well as location. Most clippings do not depict the work of A. H. Davenport Co., Irving and Casson, or Irving and Casson - A. H. Davenport Co. However, the following three client names were noted: William R. Coe (Oyster Bay, NY); J. H. Parker (Boston, MA); and F. W. Woolworth (Glen Cove, NY). Digital images of a selection of items from the scrapbook are attached to this record.
