The west side of the arch along the south end of the gallery bears gilded raised relief and painted imagery depicting the Sorrowful Mysteries. These include the "Agony in the Garden," "The Scourging," "The Crowning With Thorns," "The Carrying of the Cross," and "The Crucifixion and Death of Our Lord," rendered at the center of this section.
