The east side of the arch along the south end of the gallery bears gilded raised relief and painted imagery depicting the Joyful Mysteries. "The Annunciation" scene is contained within the large central panel, in which the Angel Gabriel tells the Virgin Mary that she will give birth to scenes within this segment include "The Visitation," "The Nativity," "The Presentation," and "The Finding of Our Lord in the Temple."
