This black leather album is embossed with gold lettering on the spine which reads " W. W. Aldrich." It includes fourteen exterior views and twelve interior views of a large brick home and its surrounding landscape. The house was designed by William T. Aldrich, probably for a family member. The photographs document the front entrance with stone carvings; an arched loggia at the rear of the house; an angled wing on one end; chimneys; a walled-in patio and garden; comfortable furnishings; art work; a formal dining room with niches; a library; hallways; and staircases. See page 19 for wallpaper. The album also includes four exterior views of two white shingled cottages with an attached stable or garage, which were possibly built for caretakers or staff.
