An ardent Amherst man in the office: "Those I have met are strictly Ivy-League types with much enthusiasm, however, for alma mater; attend the football games, take active part in alumni activities, and in general are above-average. They seem to come from families with a successful background in the professions or the gentle art of living well - some seem to have lead rather sheltered lives and many seem to seek refugre in alcohol for the frustration of too much 'insecurity.'"
