The public statue is in Harvard Square. There are stuffed birds on top of the shelving units the first being a Pelican behind the chandelier. See the art work on the walls above the fireplace - the one on the right is a watercolor of peonies by Ellen Robbins. Notice the light fixture as it will change through the years. There is a gate next to the desk to prevent the public from going into to the book stacks. The front of the desk also changes through the years.
