The executive director's report for May 1986. La Alianza Hispana activities include a news release of the executive director's hiring, the signing of a position paper on mental health, contracts and proposals with the Mass Council on the Arts, United Way, the Mariana Bracetti Summer Camp, the Department of Social Services, and others. A new director of programs position was created and the unionization process was continued. A meeting with United Way will be soon be taking place. The month has also seen financial reporting, planning of a youth festival and summer camp, advocacy and an open house.
