This is raw footage for Collores #2014 featuring an interview with Bill Gilbert, professor of Art and Ecology at the University of New Mexico who is exploring the idea of our cultural connection to nature. Exploring the environment near his residence allows him to focus his work on the landscape. He records constellation walks for others and he also focuses on learning and sharing information about the regional plant life. Conservation work mends the rift between nature and culture.
