This week's guests on "Report from Santa Fe" are Dr. Robin Williams and Dr. Kristin Bundesen with the International Shakespeare Center of Santa Fe. They discuss the exhibit of Shakespeare's First Folio at the New Mexico Museum of Art in February 2016. The New Mexico Museum of Art in Santa Fe will be the only New Mexico venue for First Folio! The Book that Gave Us Shakespeare on tour from the Folger Shakespeare Library. This is a national traveling exhibition of an original edition of one of the world’s most famous and treasured books, Mr. William Shakespeare’s Comedies, Histories, and Tragedies, better known as the First Folio. This is one of the most valuable books in the world, and is often referred to as “the most important work in the English language.” Drs. Williams and Bundesen detail the many events surrounding the First Folio exhibit, which include classical theater performances of Shakespeare's “Hamlet” and “The Winter's Tale,” public lectures with international Shakespeare scholars, concerts, films, world-class theater training, and readings. There will be lots of fun events including a Comic Book Shakespeare workshop, a Treasure Hunt in downtown Santa Fe, a Valentine's Day extravaganza inspired by Shakespeare, and more! Guests: Lorene Mills (Host), Kristin Bundesen, Robin Williams.
