This week's guest on "Report from Santa Fe" is an icon of American literature, Navarre Scott Momaday, known as N. Scott Momaday. An accomplished poet, novelist, playwright, painter, storyteller, and professor, Momaday was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction for "House of Made of Dawn". He was the first Native American to win the Pulitzer In 2007, President George W. Bush gave Momaday the National Medal of the Arts, the highest honor any artist in America can receive. Momaday now balances his creative time between writing and painting.
