'Display case includes six early firefighting helmets--mostly Milton and Boston--and four dress uniform caps from Milton Fire Department. The red top helmet was part of the Granite Hook and Ladder Company, so one of the men in the second photo might have worn it. Photo on top of case is of Richard Schmidt, president of Milton Savings Bank and a Call Fireman. Art on the wall was done by Milton Firefighter William Hicks. The photograph is an example of the museum's collections which attempt to preserve Milton Fire Department's history.'
