Pike, Phillip N. (Newman), 1895-1953 · May 12, 1918
Phil got Helen's letter of April 16th and assures her that he still writes just as often although his letters don't always reach her. He received photos from Harry of Art, his wife, and his son, as well as Harry, Millard, and Aunt Annie, although Annie had a sad expression on her face that didn't suit Phil. He thinks the war is progressing slowly but surely, and the Germans have done their best but failed. Hazel told him that Helen has not written recently, and that they got 12 inches of snow on April 12th.
