Here and Now, Mike McCabe soundbite from HandN interview from 8-6-2010, political ad regulation lawsuit, Last week we reported on a lawsuit against the State's Government Accountability Board over regulations of political ads. This week the Board agreed to adapt the rules and settle the suit out of court. Executive Director Kevin Kennedy is in the studio with Art. 75th anniversary of social security, 75 Years ago next week The U.S. Social Security program came on line. The program itself was hatched on the campus of the UW madison. Pamela Herd is a Social Security scholar with the LaFollette School of Public Affairs. So much so that one state lawmaker called for the creation of a legislative council on nanotechnology to try to determine if and how the science should be regulated by the state.
