By the 1970s, Henri Lazarof was a sought out composer and throughout the U.S. and in Europe he was invitied to several institutions. This concert that took place at Town Hall was a repeat performance that occured at Goucher College. The program indicates that some of these works received their New York premieres. Furthermore, this concert was dedicated to the Polish-born American artist Manfred Schwartz. We know from other items in the Lazarof collection, how much fine art influcenced Lazarof and his appreciation for contemporary artists.
