William Adam writes to William Lloyd Garrison asking him if Nathaniel Peabody Rogers has given Garrison "a newspaper report of your speech on Monday [July 6] for such corrections as it may require previous to its offical publication by the Committee?" He also asks Garrison to sit for "Miss Sally" and allow her to paint his portrait. Adam says that she is "laboring to accomplish herself in an art on which she will probably hereafter have to depend for her subsistence."
