Plans for a year-long celebration are underway for Orange County's centennial anniversary in 1989. The theme is "Celebrate the Spirit" and organizers are planning events all over Orange County in sports, arts, and architecture. Over 100 events are scheduled from August 1988 to August 1989. The program reviews a bit of Orange County's early history, including archival images from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Jim Cooper's Orange County is a talk show featuring conversations about local politics and public affairs.
