Frederick Steinway

Frederick "Fritz" Steinway, Executive Director of the Fine Arts Center, cheerfully addresses the camera while seated in his office. He had previously been an industrial engineer in the family business, Steinway & Sons Piano Co. in New York City, and a partner in the music management firm of Judson, O'Neil Beall and Steinway, also in New York. He retired after a long career at UMass and passed away in November 2004 at the age of 83. "Fritz Steinway" handwritten on back.
