This is raw footage for ¡Colores! #1930, #2117 featuring a continuation of interview with Ramón José López. He demonstrates the process practiced by Native Americans in which sinew from Buffalo was utilized to sew hides together to make teepees. He uses the same process in his art by using pigments from semi-precious stones such as Lapiz Lazuli and Indigo to paint on hides. His paintings represent historic and religious themes such as the Baptism of Jesus and St. Francis receiving the Stigmata.
