Moishe Rosenfeld, founder of Golden Land Concerts & Connections, a New York City-based booking agency for Jewish performing arts, was interviewed by Hankus Netsky on June 13, 2012 in New York, New York. Moishe grew up in Montreal. His mother, Sara Rosenfeld, was an important Yiddish cultural organizer there. He has worked in Yiddish theater and film for much of his life. Following a minor acting stint, he worked with his cousin Zalman Mlotek co-producing Yiddish events, including the play "The Golden Land." Since then, he has also worked for WEVD Yiddish radio and Camp Hemshekh, a Bundist summer camp in the Catskills. Today, he operates his booking agency in New York City and is heavily involved in Yiddish theater and performing arts.
