The interview was part of the We are Boston: Stories of Hope, Struggle, and Resilience oral history project created in 2018 by poet and Boston artist-in-residence Daniel Johnson. Mr. Coe speaks about incidents of racism he experienced, the music scene in Boston, grief and loss, and aging and the needs of the older people living in the city.
