One of the most beautiful outdoor theatres in the nation. Dr. Kermit Hunter's famous drama of the Cherokees, "Trail of Tears," is presented each summer in the theatre which seats 1800 persons with perfect sight-lines and acoustics and an unique three-dimensional stage. Dramatic scenes, spectacular dancing, colorful costumes, unique lighting and artful direction are used to tell the story of the Cherokees in Indian Territory. 4 miles S. and 1 mile E. of Tahlequah, Okla.
